Now for a little dirt on the competition:
Established in 1887, Florida A&M University is one of the oldest members of
the HBCU organization. These Tallahassee Rattlers have played in 15 Classics,
winning 11 for the title of "Most Atlanta Football Classic Wins."
Southern University, established in 1880, has a remarkable
history within in the HBCU organization. Hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana,
the Jaguars are relative newcomers to the Classic, with just a 2-2 record.
