With only four short weeks to make memorable Valentine’s plans, our thoughts have turned to Atlanta’s most romantic locales. We asked our Facebook fans for their favorite romantic restaurants in Atlanta, and there was one clear favorite. Here, you’ll get a chance to see the top five picks from our Facebook fans and a bonus five from our editorial staff.
1. Sun Dial Restaurant, Bar & View
On average, there is one engagement a day at the Sun Dial, so it should come as no surprise that the 72nd floor icon at the Westin Peachtree Plaza was a runaway favorite for most romantic restaurant in Atlanta. Great, 360-degree views of Atlanta combined with delicious food and an intimate ambience keep couples coming back time and again.
2. TWO Urban Licks
With live blues music five nights a week, low lights and sparkling fountains, TWO Urban Licks is sure to please your better half. From the indoor garden and floating chandeliers to the jaw-dropping views of the Atlanta skyline, TWO Urban Licks provides an intimate dining experience unlike any other.
Located in Buckhead, Aria opened its doors in 2000, and since day one has been mecca for special occasions. With it’s white linens and simple, sophisticated dishes, it’s a slam dunk for a romantic night out.
Long heralded as Atlanta’s favorite five-star restaurant, Bacchanalia features contemporary American cuisine using the freshest possible ingredients. Headed by Chef Anne Quatrano, the West Side eatery is a favorite for special occasions and romantic meals.
5. One Midtown Kitchen
Dine with a spectacular view of Piedmont Park in this renovated urban warehouse turned unique dining experience. With a 75-bottle wine list and a menu focusing on fresh, seasonal ingredients, One Midtown Kitchen will be a hit for you and your significant other.

If it’s upscale, delicious, memorable dining you are looking for, you can stop now. Park 75 at The Four Seasons is all of that and more. Chef Robert Gerstenecker takes great care to serve creative American cuisine in a luxurious setting.
2. Kevin Rathbun Steak
One of Atlanta’s premier steakhouses, Kevin Rathbun Steak is perfect for a special night out. The rich atmosphere and warm tones of the restaurant lend to an intimate experience. After the dry-aged steak for two, don’t forget to check out the dessert menu.
3. JCT Kitchen & Bar
Head over to this West Side favorite and start upstairs at the bar for cocktails before heading indoors for dinner. One of Chef Ford Fry’s many Atlanta endeavors, JCT Kitchen keeps a simple, mouth-watering menu full of Southern favorites and beyond. It’s a perfect spot for a date night where you can have an award-worthy meal in a comfortable, fun environment.
Agave is an Inman Park neighborhood favorite. The eclectic Southwest fare is spectacular, and the atmosphere is just as inviting. If it’s date night you’re interested in, ask to be seated in the side room, where on a chilly night you may be able to enjoy a fireside dinner, or in the loft, where only a few tables make for a more intimate meal.
5. 4th & Swift
Another neighborhood restaurant, 4th & Swift is at home in Old Fourth Ward. The farm-to-table concept has stayed true to its roots, offering a different menu each evening, based on seasonality and that day’s delivery. 4th & Swift is a no-brainer for someone looking to treat a significant other.
