  • Third Day

Although they don't really fit the mold for this blog (they are signed and have been around for some time), I wanted to let everyone know about Third Day.  They are a Christian Rock band hailing from the ATL.  These guys rock, and their new album, Revelation hits stores today.

According to their myspace page, this is their first studio album in three years.  Don't let that slow you down from picking it up though.  "Call My Name", the first single off the album, is the groups 25th No. 1 single.  With 3 Grammys and 23 Dove Awards, Third Day is definatley worth a listen.

We'll have to wait till September before they make there way back home for a show, but you can bet I will be there.  You can also catch them on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this evening.

Check them out, let me know what you think.

    It's All Good.

  • Joy In Tomorrow

Welcome to the JP Music blog.  It is my intent to bring recognition to the many aspiring artists that live in or around Atlanta.  Being a DJ, I have a love for all genres and this blog will highlight any and all local artists willing to talk to me.  Which brings me to the reason of this post...

I am headed out to the Masquerade tomorrow night to support, in my opinion, one of Atlanta's finest, Joy In Tomorrow.  These guys are simply great.  They recently canceled an upcoming tour in order to save money to record a new album.  Check out their MySpace page.  Doors open @ 7pm, show starts @ 8pm.  Tickets are only $8 in advance and slightly more at the door ($10 I think).  Hope to see everyone there.

Look for a full report on the show later this week.

    Always remember, It's All Good!
