King Tut Exhibit

I am a huge, closet fan of “The Mummy” movies with Brendan Fraser. So I was very excited to hear that a new mummy exhibit was coming to Atlanta. And not just any mummy – King Tut. Beginning November 15 – May 2009, this exhibit will make its North American debut at the Civic Center.  Featuring more than 130 objects spanning 2000 years of Egyptian history, the artifacts not only feature King Tut’s time, but also that of other great pharaohs such as Khefren (whose great pyramid is the only remaining structure of the seven wonders of the ancient world) and Hatshepsut, the queen who became king.

Advance ticket purchases are highly recommended. I have also heard that they sell out in every city they’re in, so buy early. For more information, click here.

Hi there, greetings from Paris.  I've just returned from Atlanta where I opened my show, THE END OF THE WORLD at the new new new Wm Turner Gallery, Ste Stove Works 112 Krog St in Atlanta.  It's a museum-sized show of collage works, drawings, prints, objects and a special edition made out of mousetraps.

Do see it.  Images here: homepage.mac.com/mistahcoughdrop

And gallery details here: www.wmturnergallery.com

The show runs through 15 October.

Best,
