I ventured out with my 7 year-old last night to enjoy the
Holiday Ice Spectacular at the Cobb Energy Center. Those of you worried that your child will doze
off before intermission, fear not. This
is one non-stop holiday sing-along complete with fancy schmancy ice skating
(most of the cast are world class skaters), holiday songs and even a turbo
version of the Nutcracker. It’s a nice
tidy package of holiday spirit wrapped into about 90 minutes of fun. It’s a busy stage with dwarves, cowboys,
musical solos and of course Santa makes a final appearance at the end---but be
sure to bring the parka, that place is cold (with the ice rink on stage I guess
I can see why, but darn, bundle up).
Happy Holidays!
