Valentine’s Day the Atlanta Way

In the unspoken social rules of Cupid's Lore, when Feb. 14 falls on a most-unromantic Monday, the weekend is fair game for lovers. As if planning one Valentine's Day wasn't hard enough, now there are four days competing for your couple's time. In celebration of the "Toulouse-Lautrec & Friends" exhibition, the High will host a special French Cabaret themed Valentine's Day event on Saturday, Feb. 12. The evening will feature a cabaret singer, classical French guitar and even Cancan lessons.

Enjoy a love-struck edition of Atlanta's perfect mix of culture and cocktails with "Martinis & IMAX" at Fernbank Museum of Natural History. The evening will feature heart-thumping live music, a special cupid-approved drink menu featuring the Blushing Valentini, and eye-popping (but still PG-rated) films in the IMAX Theatre.

Only a fool on the hill would miss an inspired Valentine's date with a Beatle. Tony Kishman, star of Beatlemania portrays Sir Paul McCartney during "All You Need is Love: The Music of Paul McCartney" with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

Movie buffs and animation lovers alike will enjoy over 60 feature films at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival. Tickets go quickly, so be sure to grab your seats for the weekend's romantic comedies today!"
