Also looking for a place in Atlanta!

If anyone knows of good apartment complexes or areas in Atlanta that have a good environment and are relatively safe, I'd really appreciate some help! I don't know the area well enough to know where to start looking for a place and any guidance would be helpful!

Some quick questions - do you have a car? Do you want to be close to public transport (MARTA train)? In what part of town will you be spending most of your time (work, college)? There is a lot of variety in Atlanta that can suit most any type of person, but I think the key considerations are the amount of time you want to spend commuting, and whether you want to be in walking distance of restaurants and activities.

I have a car and the longest I'm willing to drive to commute to school would be around thirty minutes. It'd be ideal to be within walking distance and if I'm in walking distance with places it would be nice to be in an area where I don't have to worry too much about going out on my own sometimes.

Also, I was thinking that I'd want to live somewhere that's 15-20 minutes from Little Five since I love hanging out there. I know Little Five isn't very safe at night, so there might be a bit of a compromise that needs to be made as far as safety goes, but I'd still like to live close to Little Five.

     Any ideas...?
