We know the Little Jumping Bean on Amsterdam Walk, but are there any other intown places for kids (toddler-age) where they can play or be entertained during colder days?  I know the Children's Museum is another option, but am looking for other ideas to entertain a very active toddler this winter. Thanks. 

High Museum of Art is a good option as well.

I have to believe some toddlers may be fascinated and entertained by one of the upcoming winter performances at the Center for Puppetry Arts in midtown at 18th and Spring. Perhaps "There's a Dinosaur in my closet" could be rather challenging for the more imaginative tots?

Toddlers and those big, older kids, love the action at the Discover Mills Bass Pro Shop.  My kids love to gawk at the huge freshwater tank filled with exotic and very large fishies. Older kids will like the shooting gallery; pop in a quarter and take aim with the laser gun at the bad guys in an old western town.  Of course you'll have to torture the kids with a quick stop at the Strausbourg (sp?) clothing store to see if any of their ridiculously expensive clothes are on sale!
