    Buford Highway dining

The AJC came out today with a great article about Buford Highway dining.  Does anyone have any other favorite places to dine on B. Highway?

I'm a BIG fan of Vietnamese Pho (yummy noodle soup) so Pho #1 off of Buford gets my top pick!  They're located at 4051 Buford Hwy NE Atlanta, GA 30345 and the P5 (beef noodle soup) is my favorite. Oh, and don't forget the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce as an appetizer. Spice it a with a little sarachi and you're good to go!

I love all the places in this area! I usually grab a friend and go exploring in the car, make a day of it. I'm a huge fan of Asian cuisine and I haven't been disappointed yet. And this doesn't have to do with dining, but for those anime and Morning Glory fans, they have some great shops for this type of shopping!

Hae Woon Dae (5805 Buford Hwy NE # 5) serves some amazing Korean BBQ.

Though be warned, if you've never had Korean BBQ (I hadn't), they're gonna cook the meat in the center of your table, and then you're supposed to wrap it in lettuce.  It's kind of like making lettuce tacos.  Weird, sure, but trust me--worth the effort!

My favorites include Pho Dai Loi #2 (Bun Bo Hue), Pho Bac (Pho), Han Il Kwan (Korean barbecue and "Bi Bim Bap Dolsot"), So Kong Dong (soups and "Bi Bim Bap Dolsot"), Royal China, Ming's, El Cabrito #1, Don Pedro, Quac Huong (Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches), Sushi House (Japanese Sushi), Tairyou (Korean Sushi), etc. I completely agree with "sera87ph" though... grab a friend and go explore Buford Highway
