    Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

I saw on Creative Loafing's 2008 Summer guide, that the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is having a show called "An Evening of Musical Shakespeare," on Thursday, May 22, Friday, May 23, and Saturday, May 24 at 8pm. The music they will be playing was inspired by Shakespeare's plays, and will be from different composers and styles from Broadway to Opera.

Here's the link: Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

Has anyone ever been to an Atlanta Symphony concert before? Did it meet your expectations? What was the venue like? Would you go again? Is it kid-friendly?

Love the Atlanta Symphony. Great for kids - there is a youth symphony that might be most entertaining for children.

They will exceed your expectations.  Just know that Symphony Hall in Atlanta is the worst in the country, but somehow their power can often transcend the deplorable acoustics!!
