    Dancing

    Hello Everyone,

I was wondering where a good place to go dancing was?  There seem to be a lot of places, I do not know which one is best to start with.

    Thanks

    Re: Dancing

I went to Lava Lounge which is also called Cosmo Lava.  It was amazing.  It is three levels.  Techno and dance in the basement  and 80's to today upstairs.  Plus their were couches, for the girls whose feet needed a rest.

It was fun and if you go on the website you can get free entrance untill 11pm which was awsome.

    Thanks for the amazing reccomendation!

Do you have any more suggestions?

    Re: Dancing

I recommend Opera in Midtown.  There is a mixture of people who go there, and if you don't like the music in one room, there are two other rooms to choose from.  They have Mash-up, International and House DJ's. They also have an entire VIP level.  Warning! It is an Upscale Nightclub-so dress your best.

I also heard at the Atlanta.net party that Cosmo Lava was great from a man who requested to be anonymous. He said he loves the music there!

    Buckhead: East Andrews

     Marietta: Cowboys

    Gwinnett: Wild Bills

    Va High: Darkhorse-10 High

    Re: Dancing

The best place in the city by far is Opera.  It's in the middle of Midtown, right in between Midtown and Arts Center MARTA stations (that way you only pay for the cab home!) on Crescent Avenue.  It's also right near tons of restaurants so you can start early and head over to the club.

Good crowd, no riff raff, they keep it exclusive like they say they do.  Wear your finest attire and bring your A game.  Three different types of music- Mainstream/Hip Hop/Top 40 in the Main Hall, Latin/Salsa/Meringue in the back room and then they do House on the Patio.  That way you can take a breather, spread out and see some different sights and sounds if you need the break.

They have bottle service if you choose, and I ALWAYS say that it's the best choice for you if you have a group of four or more-- no waiting in line to get in or for drinks, you can pour it as strong as you want and you have a place to sit and chill out.

They have a website, Google it and have fun.  Peace.
