I read about Creative Loafing's Beerfest on their site. It's on Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Must be 21 to enter. There will be live music, interactive games, and of course, lots of different kinds of beer. Takes place at Woodruff Park, Downtown. Be sure to have a designated driver or plan on taking a cab or public transportation. They also mentioned that Safe Ride America can get you home for a fee. Buy tickets here.
This seems like an event for those who like their beer. I think someone won a trip to Germany last year for Oktoberfest. Has anyone been to this festival before? What was the atmosphere like?
