I read on Creative Loafing that an exhibit running through November 16 at the Atlanta History center is Native Lands: Indians and Georgia. This exhibit shows the complex societies that the Native Americans established in Georgia long before European settlers, up to the Trail of Tears and into recent times through the voices of contemporary Creeks and Cherokees.
This exhibit is included in the price of general admission and free to Atlanta History Center members. For more information call 404)814-4000 or visit the website.
I love museums, and this sounds educational for someone like me who doesn't know much about Native Americans. Has anyone been? What would you say about the exhibit?
