In the Loop mentions that the Millennium Gate is now opened July 4th. This piece of art in the style of the Arch de Triomphe also has a museum on the inside including exhibits about the development of Atlanta as well as Atlantic Station, where the structure is located. The museum will be open 10a.m. to 4p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 4 pm. on Sundays. The museum will be closed July 7- September 3rd to complete building.
Check out the official website for more information.
I'm pretty curious about this "Gate." Was anyone able to see it on the 4th? What was your opinion about it? Were the exhibits good? Does it add to Atlanta's personality?
