    Six Flags over Georgia

Hello, I have not been to Six Flags for many years.  I recently heard some people saying that it had gotten kind of rough because parents were dropping their kids off all day and almost using it like it was free daycare or something during the summer.  Has anyone been recently?  If so, how was it?  Also, is it still more crowded on a Saturday than it would be on a weekday during the summer?  I wanted to take my 6-year old daughter.  Thanks.

Kids of all ages have fun at Six Flags, it's a great summer treat for families. Last time I went to Six Flags I got real wet at the Splash Water Falls, so if you plan to ride any water rides, you might consider bringing a dry shirt, just-in-case. I've been to Six Flags on a Saturday; I rode the major rides early before the mid-day crowd arrived.  I alway pack a picnic lunch, which adds to the fun.  http://www.sixflags.com/overGeorgia/info/parkInfo.aspx

Six Flags is aces in my book.  I don't know about the daycare thing but what a place to spend the day for kids and adults.  The rides are still thrilling and when you get hungry.....you can eat.
