    Bark for Art benefit

I saw on the Atlanta-based In the Loop blog that on this upcoming Saturday, (May 31), that there will be a "Bark for Art" benefit for the Atlanta Laborador Rescue, at the Galleries of Peachtree Hills from 7-10 p.m.

The events of the evening include, cocktails, refreshments, live music, and a silent auction of animal-inspired art.All proceeds go towards rescuing Labradors.

According to the blog, tickets are $35 advance, and $45 at the door, and can be bought here.

This seemed, like an interesting and worthy event to me, so I thought I'd share. Does anyone know of any other events to benefit animals? Or has anyone been to one of the previous Bark for art benefits? I heard that this is the fourth one.

Do all the proceeds go straight to the animals?
