    Where Do They Get Those Costumes?

    Dragon*Con participants bring out some of the most unique and creative costumes. Are most of them purchased or custom made?

    Are you planning on attending this year? If so what is your inspiration for your costume?

    Custom made, usually by their own hands. Amazing stuff! I'm going to Dragon*Con, but have not settled on a costume yet. I'd better get busy. :)

     I gathered from the LiveJournal community that there are communities for themed costumes - like Star Wars communities and such. How do you/find and connect with such communities?

    You should frequent the "Little Five Points" community of Atlanta.  Also, pick up  Creative Loafing, a weekly free newspaper.
