    passing thru

My girlfriend is making her first trip to America in Oct. I will meet her in Atlanta. We have not been together in almost a year. I would like to take her to a romantic Italian restaurant, cozy, soft lighting not too noisy and if the food is good even the better. Possibly a comfortable booth, not a table in the middle of a room. Preferably in the area of the airport, I'd rather not spend alot of time driving. It will be a Saturday night. But, i am open to other suggestions as long as they fit into this sort of ambiance.

    Thanks, bp

Near the Atlanta Airport, but not Italian, maybe The Pecan http://www.thepecanrestaurant.com/

There's lots of places to dine in and around Atlanta www.Atlanta.net "Where to Dine"

List includes International Dining and rooftop-dining "might be romantic."

Fina Italian Bistro is also down the street from The Pecan and close to the airport.  3823 Main St, College Park, 404-767-9292
