Born and raised in St. Louis, I've lived in Atlanta for so long now that I feel as if I've been a southerner all my life. Several jobs (as a teacher and a writer), one happy marriage and three kids later and I'm still here. Fear of boredom motivates me to pursue unusual adventures to share with my family. When not working on this blog (or trying to figure out my 5th grader's homework) I'm usually hosting the neighborhood moms for Wine and Whine. I spend the rest of my time writing for magazines. To date my byline has appeared in AirTran's Go, Delta's SKY, CHILD, Atlanta, The Atlantan, The Sunday Paper, Where magazines, Flavors, Points North, The Wine Report and Southern Travel News.
