Born in Tokyo, Japan and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Patrick graduated Atlanta's Morehouse College cum laude with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. He is currently based outside of New York City in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. As an independent producer, personality, and writer for eight years, Patrick's clients have included NBC, BET, I-STYLE TV.COM, CROSSWALKS TV, LEVI'S, and HBO. In front of the camera and behind-the-scenes, the now multi-media journalist --- with a concentration on entertainment and pop culture --- has had the opportunity to interview and produce stories on a number of high-profile celebrities and newsmakers --- including DIANA ROSS, PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON, BEYONCE, MARY TYLER MOORE, MASTER P, GWYNETH PALTROW, QUINCY JONES, to name a few. His BLOG "A DAY IN THE LIFE OF RILEY: POP CULTURE & POSSIBILITIES" has a steadily growing readership that gets a front-row seat to Patrick's life and his musings and observations within that. Patrick has received a number of industry nods for his work, including awards from the Atlanta Association of Black Journalists, the Atlanta Association of Media Women, etc. And credits of late include a host slot on TLC's "Pros and Cons: The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly", which has aired several times on the cable network. And through his talent agency, ICM, he is landing spot, on-camera work with shows like ESPN-2's "Cold Pizza" and "tvQ", a pilot he co-hosted for Hurricane Productions. With that, he is currently writing his first book, a collection of narratives called "BIG WILLIES & AMAZING GRACES: Gay men and their best girlfriends". Patrick -- who sings as a sidelight -- also chairs the National Association of Black Journalists' Arts & Entertainment Task Force and has served on the Board of Directors for NABJ, as well as the Atlanta Association of Black Journalists and the New York Association of Black Journalists, which recently honored Patrick with its "Volunteer of the Year" Award at the annual Trailblazer Awards ceremony.
