we love glady and ron chicken and waffles. each time we come to atlanta, we dine their (mostly in lithonia). my kids cant get enough. we have to wait sometimes for a table.... but its worth it. you cannot rush perfection.

The restaurant was nice, but I feel that it is a little over rated. The wait was quite lengthy at the time of my visit. The chicken was of average taste not the best. However, the staff was both friendly and professional. I must admit that the waffles and fried corn was very pleasing. It was not exactly what I was expecting but I am open to visiting the restaurant again.

Gladys Knight & Ron Winan's Chicken & Waffles is awesome! I'm from the north, so eating chicken with waffles was not my style. However, when I ate there, I was converted! The chicken was some of the best I ever had besides my grandma's! Also, the staff was fast and incredibly gracious and the atmosphere was beautiful. I live in Florida, but I will DEFINITELY be taking a trip back to the ATL, and when I do, Ms. Gladys' place will be the first place I visit!

I love the fact that coming from a rural town that there is great soul food even if your momma doesn't cook it. Gladys Chicken and Waffles is a great place to meet friends and family and have a real good time and some of the best food you can eat in Atlanta. Not to mention every once in a while Gladys herself will stop in. In the heart of all the action of Atlanta what better place is it to go to then Gladys Chicken and Waffles.

My favorite restaurant in Atlanta is Gladys Knight and Ron Winan's Chicken and Waffles. What is there not to love about it! The food tastes like bite sized pieces of heaven straight from Madea herself! The delictable Midnight Train (Chicken and Waffles entre) is a suprising delight of savorful flavor and fluffy golden waffles...my mouth waters just thinking about it! The atmosphere and service is also very warm and friendly. No matter how long the wait is, you never hear ANYONE complaining about the wait time because good things come to those who wait! This is the type of food that cross all cultural, socioeconomic, and political barriers, it's just good eating,

the 1st time I went to Atlanta, I got a chance to eat at Gladys' Chicken and Waffles, and had the best time there!! We were treated just like family. It really brought tears to my eyes, because we were told that there was a possibility that we would'nt get in. but we did, and I would wait all over again for that wonderful exprience!!!----- THANKS GLADYS!

I recently visited Atlanta for the first time and had the opportunity to visit Gladys and Ron's Restaurant and feasted on their famous 'chicken and waffles' entree! What a Delight! I love sothern food and Gladys and Ron's didn't disappoint! The food was great, as well as affordable! The restaurant provided an intimate, yet social atmosphere to enjoy some of the best soul food I've ever had! I'll definitely be returning during my next trip to Atlanta!

Being from a small city in Knoxville, TN - Atlanta has always been a wonder to me. From the very first time I visited as a child to each year when I bring my children to the Honda Battle of the Bands. The last time I was there January 2007, we visited Gladys Knight and Ron Isleys Chicken and Waffles. The atmosphere was spectacular! The food was wonderful and it's so exciting to see African Americans excel in every aspect of this world that's offered.
