    My daughter lives in Atlanta and always takes me to the VARSITY. The food is just 'ok", but the atmosphere makes up for it. The frosted orange drink is something I had never experienced and just thinking about it makes me crave one! Every second of your visit is an experience. From waiting in long lines to finding a table on a game day to getting your napkins out of an unusual holder the varsity is fun. I love it and can't wait to go there again. soon. very soon. lol

    When I have out of town guests and I ponder where to take them, I always come back to the Varisty. Are the burgers the best? No. Are the hotdogs on top? Not really, though the chilli dog is quite good. Are the Onion Rings greasy? Yes, but that's what makes them special. Forget the sandwhiches and stick to the basics: dogs, burgers, rings and a frosted orange. In all, Varsity is Atlanta. They grew up together. I can remember sitting in the back seat waiting for the carhop, or grabbing a quick bite before a Tech game as a kid. You go here to take part in history. The place never fails to bring a smile to my face. And I hate to admit it, but I only like the original. So, get your southern grease on. Gobble up some gutbombs and dont' even think about skipping the FO.

    Varsity is just something that is very Atlanta! It is not just another burger joint, but part of Atlanta's history. From the customer service to the fifties decor you will feel like a true local when you step through the doors.

    I love the Varsity. It's iconic to Atlanta and the food is wonderful. There's nothing like a good dog and refreshing coke to celebrate Hotlanta.

    I still love going to the Varsity. My dad took me there on our excursions into town to see the Braves play. My dad has since moved to Nebraska, but I'm still here in atlanta and love to stop by and reminisce.

    My family loves the Varsity. Even if we are jusgt passing through Atlanta, we have to stop. There is nothing like a loaded chili dog and those fabulous fries and that frozen orange treat. It iwll hit your junk food craving like nothing else.

    I first ate at the Varsity in 1961. We drove around with waiters on the car taking ordes.The hot dogs are world famous and still great!

    My favorite Atlanta restaurant is the Varsity. I know that may sound funny with all the nice, upscale restaurants available but there is not a time I go to or through Atlanta that we don't stop there. there's just something special about their burgers and onion rings that makes you crave them. Plus the atmosphere of the place before and after a Braves games makes it more special. If you've been there, you know what I'm talking about.

    Living in Vermont, I don't get to Atlanta as often as I'd like, but being a Tech grad, I love to go to the Varisty. The pimento burgers, onion rings, peach pie, and frosted O can't be beat. Beyond that, it's a fun place to eat with a wonderful history.

    Hands down the best place to eat in Atlanta is the Varsity. When you dine at the iconic Varsity, you are living Atlanta. The food is hot and fresh. You cannot find a better burger in America. It will take you back in time when Life was simple, people were people, and society meant everyone pitched in to help. The Varsity is downtown dining. You are not experiencing the heart of Atlanta if you are not eating at the Varsity!

    The Varsity! It's probably not gourmet enough for a lot of people, but the atmosphere is awesome! The burgers and shakes are terrific

    While Atlanta surely host some of the country's best restaurants and well prepared, delicious food ... none will ever compare to the sublime pleasure this ex-pat up in Washington State gets when I touch down in Atlanta and head for the Varsity ... I will enjoy better meals and a more elaborate setting but nothing is more anticipated by my heart and my palate as that first bite of my Varsity all-the-way-dog. It is the place I go first and always. It is "Atlanta" to me and I miss it.

    My favorite Atlanta Restaurant is The Varsity, hands down ! I love the relaxed atmosphere and great tasting food. It's a wonderful place to grab a tasty meal and just sit back and enjoy your dinner !

    My favorite family restaurant is The Varsity 61 North Ave NW , Atlanta , GA , 30308-2166 It serves the best hot dogs and hamburgers in town and has old-Atlanta nostalgia. It is just a "fun" place to go after the sporting events or theater if you want some real good food and does not painfully hurt your wallet to take the whole family! The service is great, but you might have to wait a bit, as there are lots of other hungry fans there also.

    The Varsity...I will drive 180 miles round trip to get a varsity hotdog,fries and rings.Always good and fun service too!
