If you have booked the Marriott Residence Inn Downtown Atlanta, then you have made a good choice. It is conveniently located, walking distance to lots of attractions and the hotel has had nothing but good reviews (TripAdvisor). The midtown Residence Inn location is a little less convenient, in comparison, but nonetheless is less than 5 min walk from the Midtown Marta Station and close to Piedmont Park and the restaurants and nighlife around Peachtree/14th St and Crescent Avenue. Enjoy the game and the stay!

You have so many options, it is hard to advise. Really the best guidance is to take a hotel close to a Marta station because that is probably the best way to actually get to the Braves game. In which case, your options are most of the Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead properties. In Midtown you have several but new options like the W Hotel, the recently opened Palomar, the newly renovated Artmore - all easy walking distance from either the Arts Center Marta station or Midtown Marta Station. Then Buckhead has many great hotels in easy walking distance of either the Lenox Marta Station or the Buckhead Marta Station. Take the Marta to Five Points Station and from there follow the signs to the Braves Shuttle. It is a fun expereince, especially going home as the trains are packed with Braves fans and the ride can be quite festive. Good luck finding a hotel!

The 2009 Atlanta Braves Foundation AutographFest will take place at Turner Field (Golden Moon Casino Level) on January 24th, 2009, from 9am to 5pm. Fans can purchase tickets online at www.braves.com/autographfest or at our ticket office on the day of the event. The Turner Field ticket office will open at 8:30am on the day of the event.
