However, while it is a nice restaurant, I did not find it great. Midtown has so many great restaurants that Luda will have to be on his game to keep Straits competitive. I always give restaurants, especially newly opened ones, a second chance, so I will return. I am sure the Friday night ambience is much better than midweek and that might be part of my initial disappointment.

STRAITS Atlanta

I just read about the newly-opened STRAITS Atlanta restaurant in Midtown in the *Atlanta Foodies* blog. The restaurant features Singaporean cuisine, and an upscale atmosphere with "modern Asian" decor. The food was reviewed by the blogger as very delicious, and she talked about many items on the menu. The restaurant was brought to Atlanta by musical artist Ludacris and Chef Chris Yeo, and the blogger mentioned that she met both of them at the restaurant. She also has a few pictures posted, as well as recommendations.

I was wondering if anyone had been to this new restaurant before? Did you like the Singaporean cuisine? Did you catch a glimpse of Ludacris? Is it worth a visit?
