The restaurant features Singaporean cuisine, and an upscale atmosphere with "modern Asian" decor. The food was reviewed by the blogger as very delicious, and she talked about many items on the menu. The restaurant was brought to Atlanta by musical artist Ludacris and Chef Chris Yeo, and the blogger mentioned that she met both of them at the restaurant. She also has a few pictures posted, as well as recommendations.

I was wondering if anyone had been to this new restaurant before? Did you like the Singaporean cuisine? Did you catch a glimpse of Ludacris? Is it worth a visit?

Steel Atlanta

My husband and I absolutely love good sushi so we decided to try a new restaurant over the weekend. Steel recently opened in Midtown on the corner of 10th and West Peachtree, and the sushi was absolutely amazing! We both loved the Firecracker Roll (spicy tuna, w/ avocado crab jalapeno) and everyone recommended the Mt. Fuji Roll which was also delicious!

Sushi isn't the only thing on the menu at Steel.....they also serve a variety of "sea" and "land" dishes, all with an Asian flare, and my co-worker LOVES their Bento Boxes.

Another plus for Steel - FREE PARKING! The garage attached to the restaurant is free of charge making it even more convenient.

We love it and can't wait to go back!

P.S. They also do special events - complete or partial buy-out:)

Re: Sushi

Also you might try Thaicoon which is in Sage Hill shopping center on Briarcliff at the coner of Clifton Road. Not trendy at all, but very good sushi, and also good Thai if you like that also
